- DECkspace is the blog space for DECk. DECkhands journal their design and manufacturing processes here. It is a collective portal to share data for CAD/CAM, and the coding interface for solving designs and manufacturing products. All hands on DEC|k is an education initiative aimed at building a space of inter-disciplinary exploration and learning around the design and construction of real-life projects using an array of digital design and manufacturing technologies. Conducted by doctoral students in design and computation from MIT, the program aims at bringing together industry and academia to conduct an exploration of the fundamentals of computer science, engineering, and design. All hands on DEC|k aims at exposing inquisitives to global challenges providing tools and methodologies that challenging the boundaries between design, construction, and computer programming.
